The Pipeline Security for Rural Communities course provides basic knowledge on the recognition of pipeline security threats and the identification of protection measures and mitigation strategies necessary to secure this critical infrastructure, utilizing a scenario-based training environment. This course is designed for all rural pipeline security stakeholders including emergency responders, emergency management personnel, and pipeline industry representatives.

Topics covered: 
- Pipeline components 
- Review of pipeline security incidents & terrorism against pipelines
- Regulations & federal guidelines applicable to the pipeline system
- Current security threat protocols
- Collaborative response protocols

- All first responders, especially law enforcement & fire service professionals
