Trey Hill

Trey Hill, Vice President of Regulatory and Public Affairs for Atmos Energy’s Louisiana Division and Past President of Louisiana Gas Association (LGA), received the LGA 2013 Hall of Flame Award presented during LGA’s Annual Operations Conference, October 28-30, 2013, in Baton Rouge, LA. Hill is among an elite group of outstanding individuals who have made significant contributions to the success of the organization and its membership.

“Mr. Trey Hill has severed as president of Louisiana Gas Association from 2003 to 2005 and has continued to be active in the organization. He has served as chairman and/or member of many committees including chairman of the legislative and regulatory committee. He has kept the board of directors aware of legislative actions affecting our industry, and whenever it was needed, intervened on behalf of the organization. Hill has served on the LGA Board of Directors as chairman of the legislative and regulatory committee, responsible for vetting important legislative matters throughout the year and particularly during the legislative sessions, in addition to serving a term as LGA president from 2003-2005,” said past LGA president, Siamak Mokhtarnejad.

Hill started his career in the natural gas industry in 1985 with Trans Louisiana Gas. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Northwestern State University and is an active member of many civic and professional organizations including an active member of Public Affairs Research Council of Louisiana (PAR), Association of Louisiana Lobbyists (ALL), Louisiana Association of Business and Industry (LABI), and Greater Lafayette Chamber of Commerce.
