NEW ORLEANS, La. — The Louisiana Gas Association (LGA) welcomed 660 pipeline safety professionals, regulators, exhibitors, speakers and industry partners to the 2026 Pipeline Safety Conference, held August 10–13 at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside.
The conference brought together professionals from across multiple states and beyond for four days of education, regulatory updates, networking and collaboration focused on advancing safety throughout the pipeline industry.
Working alongside the Louisiana Department of Conservation & Energy and federal and state regulatory partners, LGA provided attendees with timely education covering regulations, safety practices and emerging issues affecting the pipeline industry. The educational program featured perspectives from state and federal regulators as well as industry experts, giving attendees an opportunity to hear directly from those helping shape and navigate the future of pipeline safety.
The conference also welcomed 79 exhibiting companies, connecting attendees with the latest products, technology, services and innovations supporting the industry.
One attendee summed up the experience:
“This was a topnotch event. I thoroughly enjoyed all the seminars and seeing all the latest innovations to our industry.”
This year's conference also introduced a new Diamond Sponsor Lounge, creating another space for attendees and industry partners to connect throughout the week. Beyond the classroom and exhibit hall, attendees gathered for networking events and receptions featuring Louisiana cuisine, live entertainment and opportunities to strengthen relationships with colleagues from across the industry.
The continued growth of the Pipeline Safety Conference reflects the collaboration that makes the event possible. LGA extends its appreciation to the Louisiana Department of Conservation & Energy, federal and state partners, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, volunteers and attendees for contributing to another successful year.
