Bobby Burns
Bobby Burns' career began in 1976. During this time period a work-ethic compiled of discipline, dedication, respect, character, sense of teamwork, and integrity has produced many career advances.
Beginning November 1, 1976, as a field welder was only the beginning. Throughout the '80s and 90's, he was promoted to district operations tech, foreman, operations manager, and field leader. The 2000s brought on new challenges as the district operations manager in Shreveport, moving to district operations manager of AR and LA, and finally, the regional operations director in 2012 which he still holds today.
Burns has served on many LGA Committees including Communications, Budget and Finance, Advisory, Damage Prevention, Code and Distribution, Annual Operations Conference, and Pipeline Safety Conference. He also served as LGA President from 2010-2014. We are truly honored by his involvement in the association over the past years.
Bobby is a thoughtful friend, a loving and loyal husband to his wife of 43 years, a generous and caring father to two amazing children, and a devoted mentor to his 6 grandchildren.
